Deficiencie

What is to be done in case of deficiencies?

If there is obvious damage to the packaging or the contents of a delivery, the customer must complain immediately to the supplier and refuse to accept the delivery, without prejudice to his rights to claim for defects. The customer is obliged to have the supplier issue a damage confirmation. All transport damages must also be reported immediately to MERANDI.ch. The customer must check the ordered goods immediately upon receipt for correctness, completeness and delivery damages. In case of defects or deviations from the order, MERANDI.ch must be notified immediately. If this is omitted, the delivery is deemed to be approved as free of defects.

How do I get a discount on my order?

The merandi.ch-SHOP has several variants of discounts, each of which can be found in the shop: these are quantity discounts, from a certain order quantity or “bundle discounts” for an order of several glasses of a product series.

Are the crystals on the glasses “Pointed”?

The crystals are not only beautiful to look at but, depending on the type of finishing, are also perceived when holding the glass. One perceives the crystals “angular” but not “pointed”.

Handling

Are the glasses also suitable for children?
Yes, even children can use the Merandi glasses.

Internet purchase

Is there an exclusive Internet distribution of Merandi products?

MERANDI.ch is the exclusive sales platform for MERANDI products in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Exceptions to this exclusivity must be approved and a reference to MERANDI.ch is required without exception.

Means of payment

How can I pay?

We currently deliver by cash on delivery or direct bank transfer. Other payment methods are in the works.

Place of delivery

Where are the products delivered to?

Deliveries are made exclusively to addresses in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. The delivery address must be easily accessible by truck. If this is not the case, the customer bears any additional costs.

Right of return, right of withdrawal

Is there a right of return or withdrawal?

A general right of return of faultless and correctly delivered products does not exist. In the case of card payments, the purchased goods can be returned within ten days in the undamaged original packaging, provided the goods are in perfect condition and have neither been used nor washed (damage to water control marks). You will find more details in our GTC.

Return

How to return received goods?

If you wish to return the goods, please contact us in advance and state your wish to return the goods. E-mail: info@merandi.ch. Prerequisite for a successful return is that the item is unopened and in its original packaging! The return shipping costs are always borne by the sender. Exceptions:

 – Wrong article was delivered

 – Information in the online shop incorrect

 – Article is defective or incomplete

In general, a flat rate of CHF 20.00 applies for returns.

Items that are affected by signs of use or otherwise damaged cannot be returned. The same applies if accessories (e.g. original packaging) are missing when returning the goods.

Sound

Do the glasses chime when you “toast”?

Yes, the crystals have no effect on the sound of the glasses when bumped.

Shipping / Delivery costs

What are the shipping costs?

The shipping costs are calculated automatically and displayed in the shopping cart. They are CHF 15.00 for a purchase of less than CHF 200.00. For a purchase of more than CHF 200.00 there are no shipping costs.

VAT, Value Added Tax

Is the Swiss value added tax (VAT) already included in the prices?

Yes. The prices are inclusive of VAT.
